Its endbands and bookmark are goatskin. The spine is covered in pigskin, and its boards are wrapped washi paper that was hand-marbled by Jemma Lewis in Wiltshire, England.
The talisman in this book is an early 20th Century service award from the French gas and electric company. It was presented to P. Puthod for “20 Annees de Service.” It features Prometheus bringing fire to Earth
