This Mohawk Superfine journal is sewn with Irish linen thread in the style preferred by the ancient Copts. It allows the book to lie open at any point easily.

Its boards are wrapped in hand-marbled paper by Katherine Brett at Payhembury Papers in Scotland, and its spine is covered in Alran French Goatskin that was processed at Rocky Mountain Leather Supply in Utah.

Its talisman is a 1904 French school medal. It's obverse reads: "Ecole de Notariat de Paris, Prix de la Ville de Paris, Mr. Muaux, 1904."
