This archival album/scrapbook is made from 100 gsm, white Hahnemühle Ingres mouldmade paper from Dassel, Germany, made on the same site since 1584. It is sewn with waxed Irish linen thread in a modified pamphlet stitch that allows users to paste inclusions into the book.
The book’s endbands and bookmark are French goatskin.. Its boards are wrapped in a 1933 map of the fairgounds for the Chicago World’s Fair, and the book is half-leathered in Alran French goatskin that was processed at Rocky Mountain Leather Supply in Sandy, Utah.
The talisman in this book is a watch fob souvenir from the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair celebrating “A Century of Progress.”
