This archival album/scrapbook is made from 100 gsm, white Hahnemühle Ingres mouldmade paper from Dassel, Germany, made on the same site since 1584. It is sewn with waxed Irish linen thread in a modified pamphlet stitch that allows users to paste inclusions into the book.
The book’s endbands are French goatskin, and the bookmark is Italian calfskin. Its boards are wrapped in a pre-WWII, 36 map of Japan, and the book is half-leathered in Italian calfskin that was processed at Rocky Mountain Leather Supply in Sandy, Utah.
The talisman in this book is a Japanese 1930s red cross medallion.
