This book’s endbands and bookmark are French goatskin. Its boards are wrapped in washi paper that was hand silk-screened in a Japanese factory where kimono silks are decorated, and it is half-bound in Dubletta cloth from the Netherlands. The ormalu on its spine was applied using tools made by Kevin Noakes in Rustington, West Sussex, England.
The talisman in this book is a 1969 Apollo 11 commemorative coin issued by the Smithsonian.
