This book’s endbands are French goatskin, and its bookmark is calfskin. Its boards are wrapped in paper that was hand-marbled by Katherine Brett at Payhembury Papers in Migdale, Southerland, Scotland, and its spine is covered in Badalassi Italian calfskin that was processed at Rocky Mountain Leather Supply in Sandy, Utah. Its gilding was hand-applied using new tools carved by Kevin Noakes in Rustington, West Sussex, England.
The talisman in this book is a souvenir coin from the Paris Monnaie, featuring the Arc de Triomphe and Le Petit Prince from the 1943 novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
