This archival album/scrapbook is made from 100 gsm, antique white Hahnemühle Ingres mouldmade paper from Dassel, Germany, made on the same site since 1584.  It is sewn with waxed Irish linen thread in a modified pamphlet stitch that allows users to paste inclusions into the book.

The book’s boards are wrapped in paper that was hand-marbled by Jemma Lewis in Wiltshire, England, and its spine is covered in goatskin from Landwerlen Leather in Indianapolis.

The talisman in this book is a 1914-1918 charity badge made by French jeweler and glass artist René Lalique.
