This archival, hand-sewn journal/sketchbook is made from 100 gsm, white Hahnemühle Ingres mouldmade paper from Dassel, Germany, made on the same site since 1584. It is sewn with Irish linen thread in the linked stitch pattern that was developed by the ancient Copts.This stitch allows the book to lay open easily at any page.

Its boards are wrapped in paper that was silk-screened in Japan in a factory where kimono silks are printed,nand the book is half-clothed in Brillianta book cloth from the Netherlands.

The talisman in this book is a souvenir from This Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Israel.  The grains of wheat and barley, native to Israel, are often used to decorate menorah
