Its boards are wrapped in paper that was hand-marbled by Jemma Lewis in Wiltshire, England, and its spine is covered in Alran French goatskin that was processed at Rocky Mountain Leather Supply in Sandy, Utah.
The talisman in this book is a 1901 medal awarded to a teacher in France. It reads: “Direction de l’Enseignement Primarie, Du Department de la Seine,” and it was awarded to “Selmy.”
